ABOUT US
GARMENT GURU was launched by Aleisha Mitchell in 2019. She recognised a huge shortfall within the New Zealand industry, there was such limited access to the knowledge needed to successfully manufacture clothing. She wanted to create a space where peoples ideas and dreams turned into reality. Where open conversations allowed her to pass on knowledge and her experience helped problem solve the inevitable issues majority of small apparel brands encounter.

Aleisha has worked for some of Australasia’s largest retail brands and built long standing relationships with a network of factories in both China and India. She has over 17 years experience in both local and off shore production.
Creating GARMENT GURU has allowed her to combine her expertise in production and desire to enable others. She is passionate about seeing all start ups succeed and has a range of services to help even the smallest of budgets.
